Real Estate has been a family tradition for Edie Otis. Her father, Web Otis, founded a land investment company in 1968 as an independent broker specializing in land in Sonoma and West County. Her mother became a successful broker in the mid-seventies working for Grubb & Ellis.
In 1984 Edie realized her goal of becoming a real estate agent and soon became one of Marin's youngest success stories. After working for several larger companies, she became disillusioned with corporate real estate when it came time to negotiate transactions in the best interest of her clients. Obtaining her broker's license was the next step in establishing her own company with a new vision.
As an Independent Broker Edie feels confident she can negotiate the best price for her clients without the constraints of corporate limitations. A successful reputation has provided excellent public relations for her company and her clientele is generally based on referrals. Networking with agents throughout Marin, Napa and Sonoma Counties offers a significant advantage when it comes to finding that perfect property or buyer for her clients and has earned her the respect of her peers. However Edie's true measure of achievement is the satisfaction of her clients and the many long-term friendships she has made in the past 23 years of real estate sales.
